Carly is a pole artist, aerialist, and handbalancer based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. She has been teaching & training in flexibility & hand balancing for over 10 years, & has been competing & teaching as a pole artist for 3 years. Carly has evolved from back yard flipping, gymnastics, rock climbing, yoga, contortion, aerial silks, hand balancing, dance & pole artistry. Carly's style is a combination of these elements from her past, including safety & rehabilitation techniques, has created an animal like movement quality in pole & movement in general. She loves to share her love of pole & exploring new movements.

 

WORKSHOPS:
November 12
Acrobatic Floorwork & Transitions, 5:30 - 7:00pm
Work your creativity at the base of the pole with this fusion of gymnastics, arm balances, and basework dance. No previous experience necessary, just come ready to roll and spin with knee pads and socks!

Creepy Sexy Floorwork, 7:30 - 9:00pm
Explore the more primitive side of your movement with floorwork that will focus on opening your hips and shoulders. This class will involve shoulder rolls, knee spins, and animalistic dancing. No previous dance experience necessary; cover your knees, feet and shoulders.

November 13
Faux Flares and Flips, 5:30 - 7:00pm
A static pole workshop combining the dynamic elements of spinning, flaring and flipping. Learn acrobatic basework flips and tricks that can be smoothed into soft flow or amped up into a dynamic combo. Great class for those hesitant to flips and want to dip their toes in! (all levels)

Flexibility Fundamentals, 7:30 - 9:00pm
This flexibility workshop is perfect for those wanting to utilize their flexibility in routines, photoshoots and performances. Using active flexibility, hand balancing, and contortion fundamentals, we will work target backbends and splits, specializing instruction to each person's needs and take flexibility to the next level.
