Zoom!

As you have seen, we are scheduling all our classes over Zoom. Are you new to Zoom? It is an online video conference. If you want to join our classes, it can be done one of two ways. The first is to download the App onto your phone. The second is to go directly to the website zoom.us.

From there, you will see a button at the top right that says Join A Meeting. Simply enter in the Meeting ID that is advertised during the scheduled class time. If you are on a computer, a message will pop asking if you want to open the application. Click Open Zoom. Then it will ask you if you want to Join with Computer Audio or Test Speaker and Microphone. Click Join with Computer Audio. From there, you will enter the Zoom room.

Once you enter the room, we will ask you to come on camera so we can see who is in the class. From there you can either leave your camera on, or keep it off. Please mute your mic as well so that it’s easier to hear your instructor. There is also the option to chat on the side - feel free to connect with other participants there.
