Breanne (she/they) Pole Instructor

Hey friends! I’m Breanne (She/They) and I’m thrilled to be a part of the amazing instructor team at Saskatoon Pole & Dance Studio. Sarah, the owner of SPDS, actually taught me my very first pole class back in 2016, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Thanks to pole dancing I have built strength and confidence that I never would have dreamed possible at the beginning of my journey, and I’ve made friendships that will last a lifetime!

I started my pole journey loving tricks and exploring the sexy side of pole. More recently I’ve been enjoying contemporary, dramatic styles, with low-flow and floor work being my new go-tos! One aspect of pole that I’ve always loved is anything strength and conditioning.

I dipped my feet into the competition world for the first time in 2021, where I placed 2 nd in the PSO Dramatic category. Other than that experience, I have enjoyed supporting friends and other instructors as they’ve competed, and I volunteered at Pole Theatre Canada in 2022.

While my favourite apparatus is of course pole, I have also trained on any other apparatuses that I could get my hands on. I am an advanced hoop participant, and have dabbled in cube, chair, rope, straps, and silks. In my opinion, the best thing about aerials is that there is always something new to try, or something to build on, not to mention cross training is important!

Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to learn from some of the industry’s best pole and aerial stars including Tiffany Rose, Suwasit, and Circus performer Michael Hottier from Cirque du Soleil!

Aerials are for everyone! Whatever style you love, be it sultry, comedic, contemporary, or just focusing on power moves and conditioning – I am elated to help you reach your goals! Whether you need someone to be your hype squad when you nail your first spin, or someone to help you troubleshoot a nemesis move, I’m your gal! I’m so thankful for the SPDS community and I hope to see you soon there soon!
