Hi loves!

I’m Kendra and not only am I one of the lovely Aerial Hoop Instructors, I am also part of the Media and Marketing team at SPDS.

I’ve been in marketing and media since 2019 professionally but in love with it for as long as l can remember. I’ve been in photography for about 8 years and modeling for 6. I started photography as a creative outlet and as time went on it evolved into wanting to capture others memories as well as my own.

I found SPDS through the help of one of my best ghouls in 2021 and I’ve been in love and obsessed ever since. Falling in love with chair and after one amazing Showcase, I fell head over heels in love with Hoop and just had to take my shot with it!

However, I was unsure if it was something that Id be able to excel in due to my genetic condition I was born with called Ectrodactyly, that affects my hands/feet. To give you a little bit of backstory into that, it’s a condition where my hands and feet didn’t develop fully so I was born with just my pinkies!

Though I’ve been this way since I was born and have done my best to not let it hold me back in life, it absolutely does come with some challenges. I was told most of my life what I CAN’T do because of it and never what I COULD do… SO! You sure as heck know that I wasn’t going to let it stop me from learning Aerials! I love contemporary flow, dynamics, drops and literally anything with elbows! *insert devilish laugh here*

I want to not only help encourage others to follow their passions but to also continue showing the world that If someone like me with all the trials and challenges life and genetics have thrown at me can do all the wild things that I do in the Hoop? Then I absolutely know that you can too! So come join me and lets make some core memories together!
